Member Churches commit to an ongoing partnership with Churches United, offering two representatives to the General Member Board, meeting five times a year, general support through encouraging volunteers & in-kind donations, and a financial contribution of a minimum of $1.50 per confirmed congregation member per year. In this partnership, Churches United offers connections, information, updates, and speakers as needed regarding our mission, ministry, and homelessness and hunger in the area.
Church Relations
Churches United strongly believes that we are but an extension of your churches ministry. We are available to do whatever will help your congregation grow in their understanding of homelessness in the F/M area. Therefore, we will make ourselves available to give presentations to Sunday school classes, church councils, boards & committees, small groups, and/or the entire congregation. We are also more than willing to set up shelter tours as needed.
