Have you heard of Giving Hearts Day but are not sure what it’s all about? We’ve got you covered!
Join Churches United at the MSUM Christianson Alumni Center on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. to learn more about Churches United and the importance of Giving Hearts Day on Feb. 12.
Here's what you can expect during the event’s runtime: Enjoy socializing and appetizers, as well as a presentation by Churches United CEO Pastor Devlyn Brooks, who will outline Churches United’s mission and the important role of Giving Hearts Day. CU Board President Jess Spieker Ferden will also speak at the event.
The event is free and open to the public; we only ask that you reserve a spot, which you can do by clicking here.
This year, Churches United’s goal is to raise $1 million on Giving Hearts Day. By raising that amount, CU will have a solid foundation for 2026, allowing us to provide food, shelter, clothing and support to our neighbors in need, and turn our attention to long-range planning and developing long-term funding sources.
Your support this Giving Hearts Day is critical to sustaining our organization and the life-saving services it provides to 500 of our neighbors every single day.
Giving Hearts Day is Feb. 12, but early giving is already underway, and you can make your contribution now! Or, if you want to extend your impact even further this Giving Hearts Day, become a Giving Hearts Day match and double your impact!
A matching gift means your donation can double at no extra cost to you. So when someone gives to CU for Giving Hearts Day before Jan. 26, your git could be doubled. It's an easy way to make that much more of an impact.
