Last month, Churches United, Matthew’s Voice Project and Furniture Mission of the Red River Valley all gathered together to “Throw Some Good Around” at Junkyard Brewing in West Fargo.

The cornhole tournament, organized by Matthew’s Voice Project, was not only a way to raise awareness for the three nonprofits but also to raise funds. For every pint of beer served at the event, $1 went back to the three nonprofits.

"Throw Some Good Around was a great opportunity for Churches United to engage in a fun activity with our community, while at the same time raising money and awareness for our mission," said Churches United CEO Pastor Devlyn Brooks. "Our community business partners are critical to supporting our mission, but this awesome event demonstrated that there are unique ways to support Churches United!"

Churches United is thrilled to have partnered with Matthew’s Voice Project and Furniture Mission of the Red River Valley for the event, which share the same mission of helping our neighbors.
