Join Churches United for fun, prizes and plenty of delicious soup during the Gourmet Soup Kitchen Fundraiser at the Dakota Medical Foundation (4321 20th Ave. S., Fargo) on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30-9 p.m.

Enjoy a variety of soups crafted by local businesses and individuals. Here’s who will be cooking up the good eats:

“Churches United is excited to once again be hosting its well-loved Gourmet Soup Kitchen as a way for our community to show its support for the critical work we do to save lives,” says Churches United CEO Pastor Devlyn Brooks. “Our team serves more than 500 neighbors in our community every single day by providing safe shelter, stable housing, nutritious food and a path toward healing. But we can’t do it without community support, which accounts for about half of our annual revenue. We are grateful for your help so that we can care for our vulnerable neighbors!”

In addition to enjoying homemade soups, there are opportunities to win some goodies during the wine pull, made possible by Bridgeview Liquors, and a whiskey silent auction, made possible through the Bottle Shoppe in Moorhead and Breakthru Beverage. Or win a gift card during the gift card pull.

Raffle tickets will be available to win incredible prizes and experiences. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event with cash or card, although cash is preferred. During the event, Volunteer Corn will get the place grooving with live music.

Guests will also enjoy a brief presentation highlighting the impact of Churches United and how you all have made a difference.

Tickets for the fundraiser are on sale now for $65.87 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Also available are limited edition Gourmet Soup Kitchen T-shirts. Grab them before they’re gone — only a limited quantity was made for this year’s event!

Money raised at the event will go toward feeding our neighbors as hunger continues to rise in our community.
